To receive informational materials, please submit an inquiry or call the main office at 203-776-2123. Once the inquiry has been submitted you will receive a view book, application and other relevant information in the mail. Our view book may also be viewed online by clicking here.
2. Visit Our School
Parents are encouraged to visit our school during our Open House or Admissions Tours.
Open House is an opportunity to meet parents, students and staff as well as tour our facility.

Tuesday Admission Tours
Tuesday Tours give prospective parents a chance to visit St. Thomas’s Day School while classes are in session.
Tours run on the following Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. on the following dates:
November 14, 28
January 9, 16, 30
February 6, 13, 27

We are currently accepting applications for the 2018-2019 school year. Please download and complete our application and Records Release Form. Applications, all documents and a $40 application fee must be submitted by February 5, 2018 to email@example.com or mailed to St. Thomas’s Day School at 830 Whitney Avenue, New Haven, CT 06511.
4. Parent Interview/Playgroup or Classroom Visit
Once an application has been submitted, you will be contacted to set up an interview with the Head of School and to arrange for your child’s visit. Children applying to Kindergarten and Grade 1 will attend a playgroup. Children applying to Grades 2-6 will spend a full day at the school.
5. Apply for Financial Aid, if applicable
To determine eligibility for financial assistance, the school partners with School and Student Services (SSS) through the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and requires a family to submit the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) application online at sssbynais.org/parents. If you are unable to complete the PFS online, contact the Business Office for a paper form.
