Frank Chang is currently a resident of New Haven, Connecticut and has been a member of the Saint Thomas Day School Community since 2012.  He and his wife, Sandy, are the parents of three daughters, Naomi, Alexis (STTS 2014) and Talia (STTS 2016).  Frank is Jamaican by birth, emigrating to the north end of Hartford, Connecticut, an area that continues to suffer economic challenges, at the age of seven.  Frank attributes the opportunities that he has been afforded to a combination of his family’s strong values and ethical grounding and the education that he was able to receive.  Frank believes that these are core tenets of the Saint Thomas Day School and community.

Professionally, Frank is co-head of North American Business Development for IFM Investors, a $52 billion Melbourne based investment manager focused on core infrastructure assets.  Prior to joining IFM in April 2015, Frank was a partner for nine years with Connecticut based Eaton Partners.  As part of his experience at Eaton, Frank functioned for three years as the managing partner for Eaton’s European business.  Prior to Eaton, Frank was a Managing Director with Farrell Marsh & Co. in charge of fundraising for North American private equity and real assets funds.  Frank began his financial career in leveraged and syndicated finance at Bank of America.  Prior to entering the financial sector, Frank was a management consultant with Andersen Consulting in their defense manufacturing business.

Frank holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science from Manhattan College.
