Ken is the VP, Development for Achievement First, a network of 30 high-achieving public charter schools, with 10,600 K-12 students in Brooklyn, Bridgeport, New Haven, Hartford, and Providence. He’s responsible for all aspects of fundraising and board relations, in support of seven Achievement First governing boards. Previously, he was a founding co-owner of the Bridgeport Bluefish minor league baseball team, a founder of a Major League Lacrosse team and an airline pilot. For 20 years, he was a key board member and development chair at Hopkins. Additionally, he served for four years as the board chair of Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County and as a board member for a decade. Ken is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and was a Navy pilot. Most importantly, he’s the proud grandfather of Jackson Mokotoff ’18 and Olivia Mokotoff ’20.
