Admissions Process
Our admissions process starts in the fall prior to the year of enrollment.
Parents should fill out the on-line form or call the school (203-776-2123) to request an admissions packet.
Complete and submit the application and Release of Records Form.
Decisions regarding your application for admission will be made in mid-March. We recommend that you submit your completed application in advance of the March notification date to ensure that we will be able to process your application for admission.
After Saint Thomas's receives the application, we will contact you to set up a parent meeting with the Head of School and to arrange for your child's visit.
January through February
Playgroup assessments begin for children applying to Kindergarten and Grade One.
Children applying to Grades Two through Six will spend a day visiting the school.
March
Admissions notification will be mailed to all applicants.
April through August
Round Two admissions will be made in those classes with available openings.
Admissions may be made throughout the year in those classes with available openings.

Open Houses:
Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011 from 2-4 PM
Sunday, January 29, 2012 from 2-4 PM
Open Houses are an opportunity to meet parents, students, and staff and tour our facility.
Admissions Tours: Tuesday Mornings, 9:00 - 11:00 AM

The Admissions Tours are an opportunity to visit St. Thomas's Day School while classes are in session.
Extended Day Care Program
Extended Day is available before and after regular school hours.
Early Opening: 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
Extended Day: 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
After School Workshops, such as computer programming, chess, art, LEGO Robotics, drama, cooking, and sports, are offered throughout the school year. Vacation programs are offered during our winter and spring breaks, and for the week following the end of the school year.
There are additional charges for all programs offered outside the hours of the regular school day.
Transportation
Transportation is provided by the city of New Haven for New Haven residents.
