Religious Education

"God is My Friend"

 The motto of St. Thomas's Day School is "Deus Amicus Meus" or "God is my friend".  Every morning we gather together in Chapel to foster that lifelong friendship with God and with each other.  We sing, share birthdays, tell stories, and pray together.  Our worship time grounds us as a community and makes us into a family.

 Religious Education is a time to further explore our relationship to God, delving deeper into the Bible stories and into our own faiths.  St. Thomas's strives to recognize and celebrate the differences among the children so that all feel welcome exploring and sharing their own faith.
